130g plain flour
2 tbsp sesame oil
105 luke warm water
1/4 tbsp dry yeast
1/2 tbsp black sesame seeds
1/4 tbsp sugar
In a large bowl, put in flour, yeast, sugar and salt, add in water and sesame oil, mix well and cover with towel.
Leave the dough to rest for 1 hour in a dry place.
Place the dough onto a flour dusted surface, use your fingers to press out the air from the dough.
Dust with more flour and fold the dough into half from top to the bottom, then fold again from right to left.
Repeat this fold 4 times.
Tip: do not repeat fold too many times or the bread will be too hard
Brush dough’s top with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Let it rest for 30 minutes before baking at 180 degrees C for 25 minutes.
Brush the loaf with sesame oil after baking.
Will THEY make it again?
maybe not since it doesn’t taste like bread. but they will attempt to make bread again.
