Recipe inspired from allrecipe.com Ingredients 1 tbsp soy sauce 3/4 tsp mirin 3/4 tsp honey 1/2 tbsp sesame oil 2 salmon steaks 1/4 cup black sesame seeds 1 1/2 tsp olive oil Method In a small bowl, stir together the soy sauce, mirin, honey and sesame oil. Spread the sesame seeds out on a plate. Coat the salmon steaks with the soy sauce mixture, then press into the sesame seeds to coat. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat until very hot. Place steaks in the pan, and sear for about 30 seconds on each side. Makes 2 Will HE make it again? YES. but it was really smoky when searing it.
